Zion was almost too easy. Everywhere I looked there was an awesome shot to be had. We hadn’t been to Zion for years.
It was fall and it was a beautiful day. Here are the fall colors I had wanted to capture. 🙂

And so did all these other people! Yikes!!! It was a wait but it was worth it. Totally not the Covid-19 world of 2020!

I love taking panoramas. Years ago in the film days, I would put the prints
together in a scrapbook. Now Lightroom makes it a piece of cake!

I am still in awe of the fantastic colors of Zion.

By one of the streams, this lady was meditating and when I looked up stream a little boy was trying to copy what she was doing. Precious 🙂

The flora was awesome but we had a chance to see some fauna too! There were some condors that had been nesting and the chick was moving around on their nesting ledge. I had to get out the telephoto lens to get this shot, and even still I was lucky to get it.

I enlarged him…. He’s dead center. 🙂

Along one of the streams, we saw an Egret.. at least that’s what I think it was. Can you see him… close to the center with the long neck?

Then he flew downstream and I caught him landing! J I wished I’d had the telephoto lens on for this one! It was just too heavy to carry around on the camera all day.

Zion is just beautiful!

It was a spectacular day and then to top it off, we had a stunning sunset as we drove home. Couldn’t ask for a better day!!
